28-Oct-2025 | 14:28
Precious metals tumbled today as a slide from all-time highs extended as traders waited for a positive outcome on the US-China trade talks. COMEX Gold is down around 2.50% at $3920 per ounce while Silver has lost more than 2% at $45.75 per ounce. Silver has seen intense losses and the break under $50 per ounce is hitting sentiments. The metal is currently at one-month low and is down 6% for the week. It shed 3.70% in last session. Meanwhile, on the Multi Commodity Exchange of India (MCX), trading was delayed due to a technical glitch and normal trading began at 1:25 PM instead of the usual time of 9:00 AM. MCX Silver dived lower following this and currently trades down 2% at Rs 140389 per kg.
