Agri Buzz: Post Monsoon season rainfall shows firm trends says IMD

According to a latest update from India Meteorological Department or IMD, analysis of weekly overall rainfall distribution during the week-ending on 08th October and the Post-Monsoon Season?s Rainfall Scenario (01.10.2025 to 08.10.2025): The country as a whole, the weekly cumulative All India Rainfall (ending on 08th October) in % departure from its long period average (LPA) is 64%. All India Seasonal cumulative rainfall % departure during this year?s Post-Monsoon Season Rainfall (01.10.2025 to 08.10.2025) is 60%. In terms of regions, Northwest India has seen a spurt of 450% from LPA.
