WTI Crude oil futures linger near one-week low

WTI Crude oil futures stayed slippery and lingered near one-week low today amid steady cues from the US dollar index which held above 97 mark. WTI Crude oil futures are currently quoting at $62.20 per barrel, down 0.29% on the day. Meanwhile, in equities, China's Shanghai Composite index added 0.22%. Hong Kong's Hang Seng index fell 0.76%. Japan?s Nikkei index spiked around 1%. European stocks eased modestly. The US indices hit new highs on Friday, wrapping up a positive week. Crude is easing but losses are limited as market remained worried about impact of likely European Union measures designed to limit Russia?s energy revenues. MCX Crude oil futures are lingering around Rs 5500 per barrel.
