Nifty Bank extends winning streak, up for 12 sessions

The Nifty Bank index rose 0.19% to 55,599.90 on Thursday, marking gains for the twelfth straight session.

The index has advanced 3.61% over twelve consecutive sessions.

Among the gainers today, AU Small Finance Bank climbed 1.31%, Bank of Baroda added 0.95%, HDFC Bank rose 0.55%, Axis Bank gained 0.43%, Kotak Mahindra Bank edged up 0.19%, and ICICI Bank was up 0.07%.

On the losing side, Canara Bank fell 0.57%, IndusInd Bank declined 0.51%, State Bank of India dropped 0.44%, Punjab National Bank eased 0.27%, and Federal Bank was down 0.11%. IDFC First Bank slipped 0.06%.
