Siemens Ltd spurts 1.09%, gains for fifth straight session

Siemens Ltd is up for a fifth straight session today. The stock is quoting at Rs 3350, up 1.09% on the day as on 12:44 IST on the NSE. The benchmark NIFTY is up around 0.37% on the day, quoting at 25332.05. The Sensex is at 82699.04, up 0.39%. Siemens Ltd has gained around 7.44% in last one month.

Meanwhile, Nifty Energy index of which Siemens Ltd is a constituent, has gained around 3.07% in last one month and is currently quoting at 35441.1, up 0.28% on the day. The volume in the stock stood at 3.56 lakh shares today, compared to the daily average of 4.05 lakh shares in last one month.

The benchmark September futures contract for the stock is quoting at Rs 3357.8, up 1.05% on the day. Siemens Ltd is down 0.02% in last one year as compared to a 0.18% slide in NIFTY and a 16.08% slide in the Nifty Energy index.

The PE of the stock is 71.35 based on TTM earnings ending June 25.
