Commodities Buzz: Base metals edge higher on MCX, Copper hits near Rs 871 per kg

Base metals were supported on the MCX in morning trades today. MCX benchmark February Copper futures are up 0.37% at Rs 868.10 per kg. The counter opened on a flat note but saw good gains were and edged up near Rs 871 per kg mark. MCX Aluminum futures are up 0.16% at Rs 258.35 per kg. MCX Zinc futures rose marginally by 0.06% to trade at Rs 266.60 per kg. MCX Lead futures are also up 0.36% at Rs 179.85 per kg.
