Commodities Buzz: LME Copper inventories surge 64% in last year

LME Copper inventories edged up in the year gone by. The storage of the commodity on the exchange ended at 271400 tonnes on 31st December 2024, recording a rise of around 64%. However, the inventories slipped from a five year high of around 323000 in end August 2024, witnessing a sustained pullback in last four months of the year.
