Shubhra Leasing Finance and Investment Company Limited was formally created and deployed as a legal entity in 1983 under the companies Act, 1956.

The main objects clause of the company, as per Memorandum of Association includes inter-alia to carry on the business of manufacturing , buying, selling, importing, exporting, and dealing in textiles, cotton, silk, rayon, nylon, synthetic fibers, staple fibers, polyester, wool, hemp and other fiber materials, yarn, cloth, linen, rayon other goods or merchandise whether textiles felted, netted or looped.
