Sarla Performance Fibers Limited (formerly widely referred to as Sarla Polyester Limited) is a 100% EOU engaged in the manufacturing and export of polyester and nylon textured, twisted and dyed yarns, covered yarns, high tenacity yarns and sewing thread. The company_x0012_s head office is located in Mumbai, India and its manufacturing facilities are situated 160 km outside Mumbai in Silvassa and Vapi.

The Company manufactures polyester and nylon yarns. It has two segments: manufacturing and processing of synthetic yarn, and wind power generation. It has an installed capacity of 11, 700 tons per annum for manufacturing yarns in Silvassa and 2,400 tons per annum for a dyeing unit at Vapi. The Company_x0012_s products include polyester, polyamide (nylon), texturized, twisted, dyed, medium/high-tenacity nylon/flat yarns, nylon/monofilament yarns, polyester/nylon, spandex/lycra yarn and dyed synthetics yarn.

Sarla Performance Fibers Limited was formally created and deployed as a legal entity in the year 1993. Beginning as a manufacturer of commodity yarns, the company has successfully shifted its strategic emphasis and created and deployed itself as a manufacturer of specialized and higher value added yarns. Their strength lies in customizing the product as per each individual customer_x0012_s requirements and specifications.

During the fiscal year ended March 31, 2010 (fiscal 2010), the Company collectively produced 6,033.259 metric tons of its all the products. Sarla Overseas Holdings Limited is the wholly owned subsidiary of the Company.
