Salona Cotspin Limited is an India-based company. The Company is a manufacturer and exporter of cotton yarn and knitted fabrics. The Company operates through cotton textile segment. Its products cater to the needs of hosiery/knitted, garment industries. The Company_x0012_s manufacturing plant is located at Pungampalli village, Erode District. During fiscal 2010, the Company installed three more wind electricity generators to the total capacity of 2.20 megawatts. The company was incorporated in the year 1994. During the fiscal year ended March 31, 2010 (fiscal 2010), it had an installed capacity to produce 21,744 spindles. During fiscal 2010, it produced 3.681 million kilograms of yarn and 1.959 million kilograms hosiery knitted fabrics. During fiscal 2010, windmill generated 5.573 million units of wind electricity. The wind electricity produced was used for the textile mill. The company aims at manufacturing yarn of international quality with the highest level of competitiveness on all parameters as well as facilitates best innovative methods and implements them in time and in all stages of processing. The mill aims to get a profitable return on investment through a process of continuous improvement and maintaining the highest standards of quality of yarn.
