Praj Industries Limited is engaged in the process and project engineering business. The company was incorporated in 1985 and headquartered in Pune. It has a global presence, with more than 750 references in more than 75 countries. During 1989-1991, the company established an R&D Center for ethanol production to strengthen its commitment to boosting the ethanol industry further._x000D_ _x000D_ It diversified its business into synergistic fields like brewery engineering during 1991-1993. In 1994, the company went public and got listed on the stock exchanges. During 2000-2002, the company entered the East European Market. In 2009, Praj Industries entered the critical process equipment and system business. _x000D_ Shishir Joshipura, CEO and Managing Director_x000D_ _x000D_ Shishir is the company's current MD and CEO. He has over  35 years of experience in various fields of engineering. He commenced his career with Thermax Ltd and held several key positions to rise through the ranks to become Executive Vice President and Global Head of the Cooling and heating business. He served as MD of SKF India Ltd from 2009 to 2018 before joining Praj. He is a Mechanical Engineer from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) Pilani and an Advanced Management Graduate from Harvard Business School. _x000D_
