History of JK Paper Limited

_x000D_ Incorporated in 1960, JK Paper Limited is involved in the manufacturing and selling of paper and packaging boards, including value-added products, viz. bond, copier, security paper, map litho and coated paper. The company is one of the leading paper and packaging board companies in the country.  _x000D_ _x000D_ JK Paper Limited’s journey began in 1938 with the manufacturing of straw boards. In 1962, the company installed their first paper machine at Unit JKPM in Odisha. In 1965, the company went public and got listed on the stock exchanges. In 1992, JK Paper Limited acquired the Unit Central Pulp Mills (CPM) in Gujarat. In 2005, they installed a coating plant at  Unit JKPM. _x000D_ _x000D_ In 2007, the company established a superior packaging board plant at Unit CPM. In 2013, they established a state-of-the-art fibre line and paper manufacturing machine at Unit JKPM. In 2018, JK Paper Limited acquired Sirpur Paper Mills with a capacity of 1,36,000 metric tonnes per annum located in Telangana. Between 2020 and 2021, the company started the construction and erection of a new packaging board line and pulp mill at Unit CPM. This was followed by the commencement of the commercial production of a new integrated packaging line at the Unit CPM. _x000D_ _x000D_ As of March 2023, JK Paper Limited has 3 state-of-the-art manufacturing plants located in proximity to plantation wood and consumption markets. The company serves all the states in India and 60 countries in the world, including the UK, the USA, Singapore, Bangladesh, Malaysia, the Middle East and Africa. _x000D_
