History

Intellect Design Arena Limited (earlier commonly referred to as Fin Tech Grid Limited) came into existence as on April 18, 2011. The company has its registered office in Chennai. It has a comprehensive portfolio of products across Global Consumer Banking, Central Banking, Risk and Treasury Management, Global Transaction Banking and Insurance. It is also engaged in the business of software development. In 2019, ARX, a new integrated suite of digital security services, was launched to redefine security with a modern identity. In May 2020, the company launched 2 products in the forex trading and asset-liability management spaces, namely CBX FX and Contextual ALM. In the same year, CBX-O, an end-to-end loan origination platform, was also launched to empower customers with improved data analysis and automation for the delivery of smarter and faster decisions. It launched the Contextual Sentiment API, a machine language product to assess emotional responses to products, on the AWS platform.  It released new versions of low-coding technology, Canvas 19 and also an Integration platform named ‘Olive Fabric’. The company also progressed in its Wealth 2.0 strategy by launching digital Wealth Cronus, an Indian market-specific platform. In 2023, the Company launched IntellectAI, a platform providing AI-based solutions in the insurance industry. It also launched eMACH.ai, a MACH-compliant, open architecture-based platform providing comprehensive micro-services to the banking and financial services industry.

Business Segments

Intellect is structured with two banking verticals - iGCB and iGTB - catering to specific banking needs, and recently, the iRTM unit merged with iGCB. Their product bringing forths include IDC, Digital Lending, Quantum, and Capital Cube, while their platforms consist of eMACH.ai, iKredit360, Contextual Banking OS and Digital Experience Platform, with technology like iTurmeric. The company has a presence in 4 major sub-segments of BFSI, namely:

  2. Retail Banking
  3. Capital Markets
  4. Insurance
The company has multiple products to further de-risk the business concentration. The business of the Group falls under a single primary segment i.e. 'Software Product License & related services'. IntellectAI categorises its products into the following segments:
  1. Life and annuity solutions - Products include CBX-i for sales, CBX-i Claims for claims processing and Magic Invoice for invoice processing.
  2. Wealth Solutions - Products here include WealthForce.AI for RM productivity, ESG Edge and Wealth Qube for ESG and financial planning.

Arun Jain, CMD  For Mr. Jain, Intellect Design Arena is his third venture. His vision is stated to be to make India the IP Capital towards the next growth wave for the IT Industry. His brainchild – FinTech 8012, the World’s First Design Center at Chennai dedicated to Financial Technology, came into being in 2013. His previous ventures include Mission Samriddhi and Polaris Consulting & Services.
