Greenlam Industries was incorporated on 12 August 2013 as a public limited company with the name ?Greenlam Industries Limited. The Company received certificate of commencement of business on 16 August 2013. Pursuant to the Composite Scheme of Arrangement between Greenply and the Company, which was approved by the Hon`ble Gauhati High Court, vide order dated 31 October 2014 the "Decorative Business" stands demerged from Greenply and has been transferred to and vested in the Company. The Company`s current business is resultant of de-merger of the Decorative business of Greenply Industries Limited pursuant to the Composite Scheme of Arrangement. Post the said Scheme, the Company`s business has been designed to be an interior infrastructure company engaged in the manufacture of laminates, decorative veneers and their allied products. In 2015, the company commenced production of new product line in Behror. The company also completed expansion of unit at Nalagarh, Himachal Pradesh.
