The company was promoted by Tibrewala family. In April 1, 2007, the company acquired the business of Fineotex Chemical Industries by executing the Deed of Assignment for a lump sum cash consideration of Rs 3 crore._x000D_ _x000D_ In October 19, 2007, the company was converted into a public limited company and the name was changed to Fineotex Chemical Ltd.
