About Emami Realty Ltd
Emami Infrastructure Ltd is in the business of real estate. The company is presently engaged in various projects through their subsidiaries and associates. The company has one material non listed subsidiary company, namely Emami Realty Ltd and six non material, non listed subsidiary companies, namely Delta PV Pvt Ltd, Emami Constructions Pvt Ltd, Emami Ashiana Pvt Ltd, Octagon BPO Pvt Ltd, New Age Realty Pvt Ltd and Emami Rainbow Niketan Pvt Ltd.
Emami Infrastructure Ltd was formally created and deployed as a legal entity on January 4, 2008 in Kolkata as a private limited company with the name Slick Properties Pvt Ltd. In June 25, 2009, the company was converted into a public limited company and the name was changed to Slick Properties Ltd. The company changed their name from Slick Properties Ltd to Emami Infrastructure Ltd with effect from July 01, 2009.
As per the scheme of arrangement between Emami Ltd, Zandu Realty Ltd and Emami Infrastructure Ltd, the realty undertaking of Emami Ltd, including Emami Realty Ltd and Emami Ltd`s interest in Zandu`s non core business including Real Estate, were de-merged and transferred to the company with effect from the appointed date, November 5, 2008. The scheme became effective from December 2, 2009.
The company`s equity shares were listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange Ltd (BSE) and National Stock Exchange Ltd (NSE) with effect from July 28, 2010.
Emami Constructions Pvt Ltd, a step-down subsidiary of the company, has commenced a residential project namely, "Swan Lake" Project at Kukatpally, Hyderabad. The project is expected to be completed by December 2012. Also, Octagon BPO Pvt Ltd, another step down subsidiary of the company is about to commence a commercial project at New Town Rajarhat, Kolkata.
