The company is engaged in the manufacturing functionally critical specialty chemicals such as Performance Chemicals (MEHQ, BHA, and AP), Pharmaceutical Intermediates (Guaiacol and DCC), and FMCG Chemicals (4-MAP and Anisole). It was incorporated in 2003 as Sri Distikemi Private Limited. After 3 years of incorporation (2006), the company changed its name to ‘Clean Science and Technology Private Limited” in line with its vision._x000D_ _x000D_ In 2009, the company started manufacturing MEHQ and Guaiacol, followed by manufacturing of 4 MAP in 2011 and BHA in 2014. Clean Science continued its business growth and entered into a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Government of Maharashtra in 2016. As per the MOU, the Maharashtra government facilitated the company for obtaining necessary permissions/ registrations/ approvals/ clearances/ fiscal incentives from the concerned departments to enable investment of ₹807.40 million in Maharashtra in a time-bound manner._x000D_ _x000D_ During the subsequent year (2017), it started manufacturing Anisole and commenced manufacturing AP in 2019. In 2021, the company was listed on the stock exchanges (NSE & BSE) after a successful Initial Public Offering (IPO).
