Incorporated in 1992 as a public limited company, Cityman Clothings (India) was promoted by Santhosh J Karimattoom, to take up the business of manufacturing and marketing of branded ready made garments. _x000D_ _x000D_ The company started marketing its products from Jan.'93 with sourced / subcontracted products. Products of its own manufacture entered the market in Aug.'93, with the commencement of commercial production under phase I in a leased premises at Indiranagar and Koramangala in Bangalore._x000D_ _x000D_ The company is setting up its own factory to increase the in-house capacity for garments manufacturing from the present level of 650 units pd to 1060 units pd and to set up a chain of company-owned exclusive rooms. _x000D_ _x000D_ The company is planning to introduce the well known upmarket foreign brand Savile Row._x000D_ _x000D_ The Company is planning to enter into the the field of I.T. enabled services. The Company has got the RBI approval to invest in Mediscription Inc., a U.S. based company. The Operations in I.T. will be set up very soon and the company is working out the funding part for this project. The Company is chalking out a plan for a preferential/Private placement of shares for this purpose. The Company's name has been changed to Cityman Limited to reflect the planned activities._x000D_
