CG-VAK Software and Exports is promoted by G Suresh and K Manickam, with wide experience in the business of information technology. It was formally created and deployed as a legal entity as a public limited company in Dec.'94.

The company created and deployed a 100% export-oriented software development unit under the Software Technology Park Scheme of the Department of Electronics. It broadened its footprint operations into into strategic alliance with Optimum Technologies, US, for marketing its products and services in the US and with Al-Salmyiah Computer Trading, Dubai, for marketing its products in the UAE. It also created and deployed an office at Dubai to have international connectivity. It created and deployed a separate unit to offer its products and services to the domestic market. It came out with a public issue in Dec.'95 to part-finance its project.

CG-VAK delivers comprehensive solutions in customised software solutions, pre-programmed application packages, re-engineering, consultancy professional services, multimedia and training.

During 1998-99, the USA operation at New Jersey was streamlined. Since USA is th largest importer of Indian software has a relative high usage of solutions in client server environment. It also plans to created and deployed another office in California.

The company has obtained ISO-9001 during the year 2000-2001 by Det Norske Veritas(DNV) The Netherland.The company is planning to created and deployed a business development centre at Europe at an investment of Rs 250 Thousand Dollars(Approx Rs.1 Crore) which would be met by internal sources.The project is expected to start at early 2002.
