History of C.E. Info Systems Limited
Incorporated in 1995, C.E. Info Systems Limited is one of the leading providers of digital maps, geospatial software and location-based IoT technologies in the world. In 1995, the company was founded, which was the start of India’s digital maps. In 2004, C.E. Info Systems’ launched the country’s internet mapping portal, mapping technologies. After 3 years, i.e., in 2007, the company launched a GPS navigation system in India, followed by the launch of IoT, GPS-based telematics in 2011 and a map and location API Platform in 2015. Later, between 2020 and 2021, C.E. Info Systems Limited launched real-time maps of Covid vaccine centres on Co-WIN. At the same time, C.E. Info Systems entered an MoU with ISRO. In 2021, the company went public and got listed on the stock exchanges. The next year, C.E. Info Systems Limited’s global platform, Mappls, was released with integrated maps of more than 200 countries. In 2023, the company launched Mappls RealView and Metaverse Maps. C.E. Info Systems Limited has mapped more than 6.29 million km of roads and more than 17.79 million places. They have captured more than 14.51 million addresses. As of March 2023, C.E.
