Axtel Industries Ltd was formally created and deployed as a legal entity in the year 1991 with the name Advanced Extrufoil Technology and Exports Ltd. In December 1992, the company broadened its footprint operations into into the capital market with an issue of 61.250 lakh shares aggregating Rs 612.50 lakh. In June 1993, they started commercial production. In the year 2000, the company changed their name to Axtel Industries Ltd.
