Promoted by J Venkat Rao and M Satyendra, VJIL Consulting, previously knowm as V J Infosystems Ltd (VJIL), was formed as partnership firm in Jun.'91 and later on converted into a limited company on 6th May '92. It commenced its operations in Nov.'92. VJIL is presently engaged in software development in the form of services, turnkey projects and products for the domestic market. It is also active in the area of computer education and offers consultancy in the area of Materials Management. VJIL cameout with a public issue of Rs. 5.83 crores in Mar.'94 to part finance the cost of setting up a 100% EOU at Hyderabad, for software exports and expansion of the existing activities of the company in areas of software development, educational services, product sales and management consultancy. VJIL has tied-up with FHS International, Inc, Virginia, USA to execute their software projects in India and in the USA. It also proposes to enter into a marketing tie-up with EER Systems, Virginia, USA for marketing the services offered by the company. During the year 1995-96, the educational centres were increased to 9 and the domestic software division installed the branded products like VJ STS, VJPDS, at many places and company has also secured orders from many well known companies. VJIL has consciously focussed on building capabilities on internet technologies & client server environment. In the USA, VJIL has two marketing offices at Chicago and New Jersey. VJIL has established branch office at UK and is in the process of establishing branches at Germany & Australia.
