The Company set up a departmental store at Plaza Kalpana, Birhana Road, Kanpur, offering a vide range of products such as readymade garments, electronic items, leather items, stationery, books, fast food centre etc. _x000D_ _x000D_ During 1996-97, the departmental store project was succees, only Saree Division and Archies Card Division was in operation. The leather Unit set up at Village Goddhroli, Distt. Fatehpur manufactured of various leather harness and sadddlery goods viz., bridles, halters, girths, martingles, stirup leather, leather reins, brow bands and saddles._x000D_ _x000D_ The manufacture and export of harness and saddlery products at this unit, which has been adversly affected due to severe competition in the international market, have been suspended except for completion of pending orders. But efforts are on to strengthen the manufacture and export of shoe business._x000D_
