5Paise Capital Ltd, established on July 10, 2007, initially had the name India Infoline Finance Holdings Limited upon its incorporation as a public company. The commencement certificate for its business operations was issued on July 19, 2007. Later, the company underwent a name change to IIFL Capital Limited on November 06, 2007, and eventually rebranded to 5paisa Capital Limited on August 12, 2015. 5paisa Capital Ltd., initially a part of IIFL Holdings, made its independent entry into the stock markets, listing on both the BSE and NSE in November 2017. Despite this separation, the major stakeholders of 5paisa remain aligned with those of IIFL Holdings Limited, a prominent Mumbai-based financial services conglomerate.
