Business Model & Growth Track
WeWork India operates by leasing Grade A office space from property developers, then converting and managing these as flexible, tech-enabled workspaces that it further sub-leases to its diverse clientele. Its revenue comes from workstations and meeting spaces for large enterprises (Amazon Web Services, JP Morgan, Discovery Communications), SMBs, startups, and freelancers. From private offices to custom-designed enterprise suites and hybrid digital solutions, WeWork India offers flexible terms, quality design, community experiences, and business amenities. As of June 2025, Bengaluru and Mumbai are major contributors to net membership fees.
The company’s recent turnaround to profitability, posting a ₹128.2 crore net profit for FY25, signals stronger management and resilience versus global peers. Despite setbacks in its parent’s international business, WeWork India has seen stable occupancy, asset-light expansion, and local demand for flexible work environments.
