In its latest monthly report, OPEC kept its global economic growth forecast unchanged at 3% for 2025 and 3.1% for 2026. The organization cited a stable growth trajectory, backed by strong momentum observed in the first half of the year. Major economies like the US, Japan, Eurozone, China, India, Brazil, and Russia showed no revisions in their individual growth forecasts. OPEC also maintained its forecast for global oil demand growth at 1.3 million barrels per day in 2025, rising to 1.4 million barrels per day in 2026. This reflects a balanced outlook as global energy demand remains supported by steady economic activity despite uncertainties.
