Guargum gains after recent losses, supplies stay in focus

NCDEX Guargum futures are witnessing some recovery today as recent losses have given way to some stability. Guarseed supplies are likely to edge up given the strong sowing in leading producing state of Rajasthan. Latest data showed that area under Guar is at 23.45 lakh hectares as on 4th August 2025, up marginally compared to same time last year. NCDEX Guargum futures slipped over last few days, giving up around 10% in last three-weeks. The counter is moving up now, witnessing some support around Rs 9000 per tonne mark. It currently trades at Rs 9280 per tonne, up 0.28% on the day.
