Economic Buzz: France?s industrial output slips 1.1% in July

France?s industrial production fell by 1.1% month-over-month in July 2025, reversing June?s strong 3.8% surge. The decline was mainly due to a 1.7% drop in manufacturing output, with transport equipment plummeting 10.7%, led by aeronautics and space construction after June?s peak. Agricultural food industries and electronics sectors also saw lower production. On a yearly basis, industrial production still grew 1.2%, reflecting moderate resilience despite the recent slowdown amid ongoing sector-specific challenges.
