Online retail in India will grow from US$75 billion in 2024 to US$260 billion by 2030, expanding its share from 7 per cent to 14 per cent of total retail. Gen Z will account for 43 per cent of India’s total consumption in 2025, with a direct spending power of US$250 billion. Tier II and III cities now account for over 60 per cent of all e commerce transactions in India. Quick commerce in India, already operating in 80+ cities, is growing at 70–80 per cent CAGR, which is the fastest in the world.
