MCX Morning Wrap: Base metals gain, MCX Copper spikes near Rs 900 mark

Base metals moved up on the MCX in morning trades today. MCX benchmark Copper futures are up 0.59% to trade at Rs 897.10 per kg after hitting almost Rs 898 per kg in intraday moves. The counter jumped 1% in last session with a sharp spike in volume and ended above Rs 890 per kg mark. This break above Rs 890 per kg is triggering good upmove today. MCX Aluminum futures are up 0.42% to trade at Rs 253.45 per kg. MCX Zinc futures surged 1.06% to trade at Rs 268.05 per kg. MCX Lead futures also edged up by 0.06% to trade at Rs 180.80 per kg.
