Germany?s annual inflation rate dropped to 2% in June 2025, the lowest in eight months, as energy prices fell 3.5% and food inflation eased to 2% from 2.8%. Motor fuel prices declined 4.6%, while household energy dropped 2.8%, with firewood and heating oil each down 5.6%. Electricity fell 2.4%. Meanwhile, service prices remained elevated, rising 3.3%.
