Global Raw Sugar futures rebound after recent losses

Global Raw Sugar prices are witnessing good recovery after testing two and half week lows. Prices fell over last few days on above-average rainfall for Brazil over the past week. However, prices edged up thereafter as a sharp rally in WTI crude oil prices to a five week high and general strengh in commodities owing to dollar weakness benefitted the commodity. Market also remained worried about Indian sugar production. The Raw Sugar futures are currently up 2.5% at 19.65 cents per pound.
