Commodities Buzz: US Zinc output up marginally in first ten months of 2024

US Geological Survey stated that US domestic mine production (recoverable) of zinc in October 2024 was 57,900 metric tons (t). Mine production (recoverable) for the year through October was 622,000 t compared with 618,000 t in the same period in 2023. Average daily (recoverable) mine production in October was 1,870 t, 32 t less than that in the previous month and 21% less compared with that in October 2023.
