MCX Evening Wrap: Crude oil turns around after nearing Rs 5300 per barrel mark

MCX Crude oil futures swung on either direction today but intraday selling capped the upside for the counter. The benchmark futures started session in red before edging up from lows around Rs 5230 per barrel. The counter saw good gains in afternoon after breaking above previous close of Rs 5255 per barrel. However, highs around Rs 5300 per barrel prevented upmove and the counter fell sharply, giving up around 1% in intraday moves. It currently trades at Rs 5244 per barrel, down 0.21% on the day.
