MCX Morning Wrap: Base metals under stress, Zinc down around half a percent

Base metals mostly stayed turned lower on the MCX in morning trades today. MCX benchmark April Copper futures are down 0.31% to trade at Rs 861.65 per kg. The counter tried to stay in positive territory after a steady opening but slipped once its precious close of Rs 864.35 per kg was broken down. MCX Aluminum futures eased 0.11% on the day to trade at Rs 236.60 per kg. MCX Zinc futures lost 0.48% to trade at Rs 259.20 per kg while Lead futures are up marginally by 0.08% at Rs 178.45 per kg.
