MCX Morning Wrap: Base metals slide across the board

Base metals fell on the MCX in morning trades today. MCX benchmark April Copper futures lost 0.98% to trade at Rs 846 per kg. The counter opened lower and a break under Rs 850 per kg mark triggered substantial correction in the counter. MCX Aluminum futures dipped 0.82% to trade at Rs 234.50 per kg. In other metals, MCX Zinc futures are trading at Rs 248.85 per kg, down 0.90% on the day while MCX Lead futures shed 0.31% to trade at Rs 177.65 per kg.
