Economic Buzz: China CPI down 0.1% on year in March

China's consumer price index (CPI), a main gauge of inflation, was down 0.1 percent year on year in March, the National Bureau of Statistics said Thursday.

Meanwhile, China's producer price index (PPI), which measures costs for goods at the factory gate, went down 2.5 percent year on year in March.
