According to a latest update from the Solvent Extractors Association or SEA, the Export of Oilmeals for the month of August 2023 is provisionally reported at 354,205 tons compared to 281,693 tons in August 2022 i.e. up by 26%. The overall export of oilmeals during April to August 2023 reported at 1,945,553 tons compared to 1,521,675 tons i.e. up by 28%. In case of soybean meal last year, India was out priced in the international market, however in current year export has revived and reported at 481,315 tons compared to 107,620 tons in the previous year. The export of rapeseed meal is performing much better and reported at 1,155,282 tons compared to 1,077,644 tons, ricebran extractions at 151,614 tons compared to 204,403 tons and castorseed meal at 146,690 tons compared to 129,395 tons in the previous year.
