  • Natural Gas rose today after a sharp drop in last session. Natural Gas futures slipped yesterday as a pullback from ten month highs continued. Working gas storage in the United States was 3,729 billion cubic feet in the week ending November 1st, marking a net increase of 34 billion cubic feet, or 0.9%, from the previous week, the US Energy Information Administration (EIA) said in a report on Thursday. The total working gas storage increased by 16.6 percent from this time last year, or 0.8% above the five-year average. The storage of working gas is expected to reduce in November when heating season starts in the country. Thus, the demand conditions would weigh on the prices now. The benchmark Natural Gas futures are currently trading at $2.79 per mmbtu, up 0.72% on the day. MCX Natural Gas futures are trading at Rs 199.30 mmbtu, up 0.55% on the day after hitting a high of Rs 200.30 per mmbtu in intraday moves.
