Commodities Buzz: India's crude oil demand expected to hit 7.8 mbpd in 2035 compared to 5.4 mbpd in 2024

International Energy Agency (IEA) has stated in its latest World Energy Outlook 2025 (WEO-2025) that India?s crude oil demand is expected to rise from 5.4 million barrels per day (mbpd) in 2024 to 7.8 mbpd in 2035 and 10.5 million barrels per day in 2050, under currency policy scenario.
