Germany's consumer price inflation eased in October after rising for two straight months, final data from Destatis revealed on Wednesday. The consumer price index saw an annual increase of 2.3 percent, which was slower than the 2.4 percent rise in September. The rate came in line with the estimate released on October 30. The Energy prices dropped 0.9 percent from a year ago while food prices gained 1.3 percent annually. Excluding food and energy, core inflation was steady at 2.8 percent, as initially estimated.
